Monday September 14, 2015: Diana Block

This Monday, September 14, on KPFA Women's Magazine Kate Raphael and Lisa Dettmer talked with three women who are exploring ways to make their commitments to social justice and transformation more accessible: novelists Ellen Bravo and Diana Block and dharma teacher and musician Eve Decker.

You can admire someone's courage and yet also question their tactics.

Diana Block's new novel, Clandestine Occupations, delves into the same territory as her memoir, Arm The Spirit: A Woman's Journey Underground and Back.  Clandestine Occupations looks at radical movements of the 1970s through the 2000s and beyond, through the eyes of five different women characters.

Meet Diana at the launch of her book on September 20th from 3-5 at 518 Valencia in SF. For more info on this and other events for Clandestine Occupations go to Diana's Facebook timeline.
