Monday, October 2, 2017: Michelle Cox, J.L. Doucette and Kate Raphael on place-based mysteries

Craft is the topic on this week's Women's Magazine

In the second half of the show, Kate discusses writing mysteries that emphasize the sense of a place, with fellow mystery authors Michelle Cox and J.L. Doucette

Cox's wildly successful Henrietta & Inspector Howard series is set in Chicago during the 1930s.
Doucette's acclaimed debut novel Last Seen utilizes the harsh landscape of rural Wyoming to create a taut psychological thriller.
