We talk to Lina Buffington, the Executive Director of MISSSEY, about their work Motivating, Inspiring, Supporting & Serving Sexually Exploited Youth and  Professor Teiahsha Bankhead,   Associate Director of Restorative Justice For Oakland Youth, who provide alternatives to punitive school discipline and juvenile justice policies. We look at how black girls and women are uniquely affected by state and personal violence and the solutions they are offering to interrupt those cycles of violence.
