We talk with Jazmin Morelos, coordinator of the Urban Lactation Project, about public breastfeeding and some upcoming events in San Francisco.  August is Breast Feeding Awareness month. In celebration Two Nights of Art, Music and Poetry, a two day event will be held on August 16th and August 23rd from 6-9 PM at the Eric Quezada Center on 518 Valencia St in San Francisco, CA. Speakers on both nights will discuss the benefits of breastfeeding, myths about breastfeeding, and local resourses.

The goal of Urban Lactation Project is to promote nursing in public through art & creating comfortable and welcoming public environments.

Jazmin Morelos' favorite nursing mom and kid friendly restaurant is Espetus at 1686 Market St. at Gough in San Francisco.
