Monday, June 24, 2019: Beyond Gay Marriage and Police out of the Dyke March
Today on Women’s Magazine on the 50th anniversary of Stonewall and as we approach the upcoming Pride parades and Marches we will listen to a previously presented documentary Beyond Gay Marriage: The Assimilation of the Radical Queer Movement, which looks at how the campaign for gay marriage was symptomatic of a move away from the radical politics of the Gay Liberation Movement. And we will talk to Mary J from Gay Shame about their push to get cops out of the Dyke March.
