Happy Halloween! Max Dashu talks about the fascinating and long-suppressed histories of witches with priestess and sociologist Giana Cicchelli.
Max just published her first book, Witches and Pagans: Women in European Folk Religion, 700-1100. The book looks at "what the authentic cultural heritages of European women are before Christianity."
