On Monday July 24th on KPFA’s Women’s Magazine we talk to two amazing and influential women’s rights activist who unfortunately you probably have never heard of.
Corrine Smith brings us the voice of Neesa Medina, a Honduran women’s rights activist with the women’s rights group Centro de Derechos de Mujeres. They are fighting for women’s basic rights to health, labor and political participation in the face of overwhelming violence. More information also at Witness for Peace.
