"This is about so much more than the pipeline."

In the last weekend the camp has doubled in size. People are coming from all over even if they can only stay for a day. The stories from the lives of Native Peoples of all generations from the young to the elders are being told in some cases for the first time.

Hundreds of people have been arrested and charged with a felony. In North Dakota it is mandated that anyone arrested for a felony must submit a DNA sample. No one knows what is being done with these DNA samples or what will happen if and when the charges are dropped.
