Apology to a Whale: Words to Mend a World, by Cecile Pineda, is now available from Western States Legal Foundation is sponsoring a benefit book launch, reading and signing on Saturday, October 10 at the Berkeley Town House, 2550 Dana Street at the corner of Parker Street, with a wine and cheese reception at 3:30 pm and author presentation at 4 pm. Cecile Pineda will talk about how the work developed, and answer questions from the public. Admission is free. Book sales will benefit Western States Legal Foundation, which has been working for the abolition of nuclear weapons throughout the world for more than three decades.
