Month of Momentum to #CloseTheCamps

Less than a month ago, I was chatting with some friends at a protest at the ICE offices in San Francisco. "This is good," I said, "but we should be here every day."

Last Thursday, after a crazy three weeks of mobilizing by five women, we kicked off a month of DAILY actions organized by more than 40 and affinity groups, each day led by a different community or constituency. Librarians, Tenants, Restaurant and Bar Workers, Faith Communities, Singers, Youth, Climate Activists, Health Workers, Witches, Comedians ... and of course Queers -- check out our Facebook page and calendar and come out whenever you can.
Every day in August
noon - 1 pm (and sometimes longer)
630 Sansome Street, San Francisco
